  I visited Sorella's for the first time ever this summer and was not disappointed! It combines two of my favorite things... steak and pasta! We visited for my birthday in July and then again for our anniversary in September and it was outstanding both times! They were so sweet on our anniversary and gifted did not one but two beautiful yummy desserts with happy anniversary written on it. Can't wait to go back for our next celebration!

  I can't think of very many restaurants to recommend for Italian in Bakersfield. Whenever I have a pasta craving I generally make it myself. I love my carbs, but I've been trying to eat low carb now so it's usually tricky going out to eat. Some places are more than willing to accommodate. Sorella's is one of those restaurants.
  
  I had been here a couple of times before. I've tried their famous steak and a couple of pasta dishes, but was never too impressed. The steak was pretty good in flavor, but it was served medium-well when I ordered it rare. Disappointing for me, but I found that lots of people who enjoy their steaks well done or medium say Sorella's has the best steaks. The pastas are average. Never disappointing, but nothing quite memorable.
  
  What really earned this rating is that the chef was able to make me a special low carb meal that wasn't a steak. I ordered the Chicken Artichoke Penne, no penne, sub for cauliflower and broccoli only.  I was so impressed and completely satisfied! This dinner alone is a five star meal. I enjoyed it so much that I returned two weeks later with a small group of friends. My sister also ordered this and she too can vouch for it. I recommend getting the fresh Parmesan and cracked pepper sprinkled on top. Then add some chili crust if you like a little bit of heat.
  
  I'm extremely grateful for the staff and chefs who allowed for me to have Italian on a low carb lifestyle.

  Really great experience, great customer service, and delicious food. Kenzie was amazing! Her customer service is unmatched! She was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable. My family and I will definitely be going back because of the food + Kenzie!

  SORELLAS!! I'm so happy this place is still open! This hidden gem has been here since I was a kid.. and this was my first time back in almost 15 years. I moved out of Bakersfield in 2003 but visit my parents frequently who still reside there. I never thought of this place but yelp searching rang a bell when I read the name. So, had to come the same night for dinner! We had the spaghetti and meatballs and another creamy pasta dish that I forgot the name of Lol you also have to get the ribeye here for $34.99 it was amazing!

  Always a great place if you want to impress or just enjoy good food.  Ambience is important to me personally (If I want to treat myself to a wonderful meal, I want the surroundings to match my mood.)
  Sorella Meets that expectation.  Their salads are always fresh and crisp, they offer one of the best steaks in town and their pastas are to die for... Especially the manicotti.  I always tell myself I'm going to try their desserts on the next visit but as always seems to be the case, it Is all I can do to waddle out the door let alone have dessert!  The staff is courteous and prompt and their friendliness Completes the whole package.  It's location is a little hidden but I like to think of it as a precious gem hidden away as a surprise.
